Most applications need to store data and that data is typically stored in a relational database. Pollenation has years of experience in using and designing relational database schemas and have experience in many of the commonly used database servers including IBM DB2/2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Our preferred database server is PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL is an open source, standards- and ACID- compliant, relational database server with a strong reputation for reliability and correctness. PostgreSQL includes most of the features found in high-end, commercial database servers.
