One of the ways in which Pollenation keeps costs low to use the a library of modules and components that we have built during the course of our work. We also make sure that we use, and also contribute to, some of the best open source software available in the world.

Some of our modules have developed into fully featured software that could be sold in it's own right. However, rather than try to make money managing a software sales company, Pollenation would rather make this software available free to our clients and only charge for the customisation, enhancement and installation of the software. One of the advantages of this approach is that our customers can continue to benefit from future enhancements without the continuous software upgrade and relicensing costs.
