Search Engine Friendly CMS
Gone are the days where I had to ask the technical guys to FTP the updated pages to the server. What a relief!
We've focused on building a content management system that is search engine friendly, right from the bottom up. So if you look at the URLs there none of the %, &, = or ?, just plain simple URLs the search engines can index.
The amount of content management systems that aren't built with search engines in mind, so all the relevant, up to date content cannot be indexed by the engines.
Not only that, we've built the site using CSS build for the HTML and that makes a huge difference to the search engines. It addresses the balance of HTML: Content, making the content easier to find.
We've also ensured the site is valid HTML. If search engines index a site via following the links in the HTML, then if the HTML isn't valid, how can the spiders follow the code? This is one point that's overlooked by most companies but is essential for Google.
